All-Star players 2

Filed under: Uncategorized —— diegokings @ 11:57 pm

My last post was about, in my opinion the players who should go to the All-Star game in July. It talked about my 3 best choices of the nnominated players of the leading teams of the American League. Now, I’m going to do the same thing, just that I’m going to talk about the players of the National League. I’m going to start with the leading team of the east division which are the Florida Marlins. I’m going to start with the obvious player which is Hanley Ramirez. He has shown the same persistent and consistent throughout all the the years he has played with the Marlins. The most impressive thing about him is his average of ..338 and his 13 stolen bases. Then the two guys are so alike that I’m going to talk about them at the same time. They are Mike Jacobs and Dan Uggla. Their stats are so alike than it seems that it is the same person. They both have an average of .271, and two players having the same average in batting is really unusual. They both have 9 homeruns and finally they both have 1 stolen base. There is only two differences about them which are that Mike Jacobs has 24 RBI’s and Dan Uggla has 25. The other difference is that Mike Jacobs was injured a couple of days, but hopefully will come back in the next game against the Nationals. The second team is the the St. Louis Cardinals which lead the Central Division. My first pick is Albert Pujols and I don’t think I have to explain why would the National team want him. The only ting I have to say about him is hat he is a power swinger. My second pick is the ex-star for the Blue Jays, Troy Glaus. He is doing as well as he did last season with the Blue Jays, just that now he is in a team how are actually winning. He has 21 RBI’s and is i great shape with a some good at bats. My last pick was hard because the rest of the players were not good at all. He is Ryan Ludwick which has 23 RBI’s, 7 homeruns and a .351 average. Although that are some really good stats, I just think he is not ready for a All-Star game since he has only 6 seasons and is constantly changing teams. Finally are the Arizona Diamondbacks who are the leaders in the west division of the National League. I’m starting with one of the stars of this team who is Chris Young. He is an amazing player. which Arizona should feel lucky to have him for two seasons. He has .254 average with 9 homeruns leading his team in homeruns. With 24 RBI’s he is power hitter. Like his name says it, Young is a really young player which has just had 3 seasons including this one, playing baseball and all of them with the Diamondbacks. The second star of the Diamondbacks is Conor Jackson. He differ from Chris Young is a consistent hitter. He has 5 homeruns but has a .310 average which proves that he is a hitter that will always give you good results in each game. The last player is Justin Upton whit is a decent player which you can trust. He is not a power hitter or a consistent hitter but he is a little bit of both. .318 of average, 6 homeruns and 21 RBI’s. There is not much you can say about this player, but he is doing a great job for the D-back’s. That is all for this post and I hope you read the next one. Peace out.
